mariannedemmo asked: Hi Christian, first of all, very nice work you have there! Was just wondering where you studied for your BA and who you see as your biggest influences? To me your work is like a nice mix German, American and British landscape photography with that typical dark Norwegian melancholic feel to it. Very nice!

Hi Marianne,

thank you very much!
I studied at Kingston University (London). I think what you describe is quite precise where my influences come from. The ones I can think of right now are Mark Power, Frank Breuer, Tom Hunter, the Bechers, Boris Becker, Stephen Shore, Albert Renger-Patzsch,  Edward Burtynsky and Ivan Brodey (+ hundred others).
